Hope Housing Community Land Trust (HHCLT) was founded by Tiawana Bullock and a group of young African American adults native to Marin City, a small community in Marin County California. Marin City has a rich history dating back to the 1940s, when African Americans migrated from the southern states to work in Sausalito, building warships for the federal government.
Mission / Vision
Mission - As a community land trust we strive to create access to affordable, inclusive and equitable housing through ownership of land or acquisition of properties.
Vision - Our vision is to build small sustainable communities that will serve a purpose of affordable housing, educational opportunities and employment
What We Offer
We believe that housing is very important for a person's well being. Hope Housing CLT workshops are designed to help individuals manage day to day living. We offer a variety of workshops or information depending on your needs. All of our workshops are facilitated by professionals. Our workshops are usually held on the last Tuesday and/or Thursday of every month
Our Team
Hope Housing CLT was founded by a group of young adults (African American) that are native to Marin City community. The passion for affordable housing grew as young adults came face to face with the reality that affordable housing is difficult to obtain in the community that they lived in all
